My History / Timeline

January 2, 2025

Started ILAO / $25.00 per share

Started with $25 per share and 3 sub-portfolios. Over 53% of the portfolios was cash. Set largest positions to under 8%.

October 5, 2025

Sold VMEO stock options at significant gain / $31.15

April 11, 2026

Established improved requirements for ILAO / $32.06

Released growth is established through multiple expansion, intrinsic growth, dividends, and rebalancing.

April 17, 2026

Went from 3 sub-portfolios to 2 sub-portfolios

May 8 – 17, 2026

Stopped investing in equity futures contracts

Made adjustments regarding my philosophy of risks in investing. No longer investing in futures contracts and only selectively investing in stock options (use to the extent as if investing in actual stock).

July 2, 2026

Realized the importance of quick rebalancing / $34.43

Realized I can quickly rebalance and the importance of allocations. Target cash allocation is considered 10% to 20%. Under 5% is scarce and over 25% is an abundance. Also, realized the job as a CEO of ILAO is to have a vision, allocations, monitor management of the underlying companies, its risks, and its competition, evaluate performance, and document results.

July 12, 2026

Decision made to cap holdings at 60 positions / $34.44

In order to maintain knowledge, I decided 60 was the maximum number of positions I could actively hold and follow accurately. Focus mostly or staying updated with current holdings and spend only 10% of time on R&D researching new positions.

July 25, 2026

A way to realize the gains / $33.10

I realized that a position must not only be undervalued, but there must be a way or catalyst in mind to make he company realize it is undervalued, in order for me to recognize the gains.

October 17, 2026

Decided to let some positions go well above 8% and limited ETFs / $31.78

Certain extremely undervalued positions with high confidence are allowed to go well above 8%. There must be confidence, and the believe the the gain will be quickly realized to justify the allocation. Also, started allowing limited ETFs, in addition to individual stocks, as investments.

Established drift bands for allocations, 5% drift for cash, between 10% and 20%, and 20% drift bands for individual positions.

Established the ability to tactically rebalance for down drifts to take what the market give, but strategic rebalance for buys and sells only conducted pursuant to research.

As an investor focus on 1. the Price and 2. the Value of the underlying company, and 3. their Impact on ILAO’s value.
