Updates

The most significant update is about the gains from stock options. I had stock options in NVO, FVRR, and MED. I bought the NVO LEAP options first, and I continue to hold them. I later bought the FVRR options thinking they were under valued. I bought FVRR options in addition to the FVRR stock I already owned. At one point the FVRR options rose high enough to account for about .30 cents per share gain in My Implied Share Price. However, then FVRR announced a change in their operating business plan moving forward, and it was going to take several quarters to transition and complete the change from gig work to more a detailed projects focus. The price dropped dramatically and based on the business plan changing, I sold the options at a loss of .27 cent per share in My Implied Share Price.

The loss was greatly made insignificant by the nice gains I received from selling MED options. I earned about .99 per share in My Implied Share Price from the sell. I had only recently bought the MED options. I had recently sold a significant portion of my MED stock to replace it with WW stock. I continue to hold a small position in shares of MED, because I still like the company. However, after I sold the shares the price dropped dramatically, to the point I thought it was unacceptable. I then bought a significant position of stock options in MED. I would have been satisfied to hold the options a long time, however, I was confident the share price would move at the recent quarter reporting period announcements, which it did. I then sold the options at a significant short term gain.

The rest of the adjustments in AII, AWX, FLR, HGBL, JTAI, SITC, TGT, USNA, VTSI, WEYS, WW, and ZM were just to opportunistically optimize and bring each business closer inline with my targets and raise cash. I’m holding a functional level of cash, which about 20%. I feel very comfortable at this time with the portfolio’s overall allocations.
